Day 1 - Calgary
Arrive in Calgary for the beginning of your Rocky Mountain adventure. Start with included admission to Calgary Tower, where you’ll feel like you’re suspended in mid-air, 525 feet above the city. With a 360-degree panoramic view, you’ll see all the way to the rolling foothills that surround Calgary and meet the Rocky Mountains in the distance.
Day 2 - Calgary to Banff
Board your private motorcoach for your journey to Banff including a full day of sightseeing. Highlights include the Hoodoos rock formations, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive. Then you’ll board the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking views. Continue to Kananaskis for the highlight of today’s adventure, a 12-minute panoramic helicopter tour over the remarkable landscape of the Rockies.
Day 3 - Columbia Icefields tour
Today you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, Athabasca Falls, and the Columbia Icefield. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on a giant six-wheel drive “Ice Explorer” to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Lunch is included at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. (L)
Day 4 - Jasper sightseeing tour
Welcome to Jasper! Start with a half-day sightseeing tour of Jasper, where you’ll encounter scenic views of Pyramid Lake, Patricia Lake, Maligne Canyon, and the Athabasca viewpoint. The remainder of the day is free to explore more of Jasper National Park independently.
Day 5 - Rocky MountaineerGoldleaf service - Jasper to Kamloops
Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer's Goldleaf railcar from Jasper. Today your journey travels from the mighty Canadian Rockies heading west. You will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, the highest mountain peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over Yellowhead Pass. (B/L)
Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer Goldleaf service - Kamloops to Vancouver
On today’s rail journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. (B/L)
Day 7 - Vancouver - North Shore tour, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver Lookout
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Vancouver's spectacular North Shore and downtown with breathtaking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. Then travel to the Capilano Suspension Bridge taking a walk across the 450-foot long and 230-foot high bridge perched above the Capilano Canyon and stroll along Treetops Adventure. Today also includes the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride and the Vancouver Lookout for panoramic views of the city.
Day 8 - Vancouver
Your journey through the clouds concludes today in Vancouver. Head home with memories of snow-topped peaks and breathtaking vistas.
A nonrefundable deposit of $1,200.00 per person is due at the time of booking.
